The Escondido Art Association announces the Grand Re-Opening of the Artists Gallery at 121 Grand Avenue, Escondido on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
The gallery will adhere to strict enforcement of COVID 19 protocols put in place by Governor Newsom to ensure a safe environment for exhibition and viewing.
A monthly themed art show entitled “Our Country,” open to broad interpretation during this time of uncertainty facing our country, will be on exhibit through Friday, July 31st. Drop-off dates for artwork at the gallery located at 121 W. Grand Avenue, Escondido are Friday, July 3, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. and Monday, July 6, 4 – 6 p.m. Pick-up dates for artwork are Saturday, August 1, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Monday, August 3, 4 – 6 p.m. New gallery hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 11 a.m. till 4 p.m.
Artists of all ages, members and non-members alike, are invited to participate in this show. The EAA, an all-volunteer non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to promote the arts in North County San Diego, is also holding a membership drive at this time in an effort to expand our base and attempt to recover some lost revenues the museum suffered due to the forced closure of its gallery as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic.
