No New Year’s diet resolutions are allowed until February 4th! Enjoy the diverse culinary flavors of Escondido at over 30 eateries during Dine Out Escondido! Take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to visit your favorite restaurants and discover new experiences!

Visit Escondido’s Dine Out Escondido! Restaurant Week is happening January 28 to February 3 at over 30 restaurants in historic downtown and all around town.

Held in partnership with California Restaurant Month, this successful culinary tourism event happens during the last week in January and is celebrating its fifth year.

San Diego residents and visitors will be able to partake of scrumptious specials from Escondido’s highly-acclaimed chefs, restaurateurs, and eateries and savor the diverse culinary flavors of Escondido by taking advantage of this opportunity to visit their favorite places and create new experiences!

“With over thirty local eateries offering diverse specials, our restaurant week gives everyone a chance to finally get out to that great restaurant that’s been on their list to try,” said Katherine Zimmer, tourism manager for the City of Escondido. And the timing is perfect, immediately following San Diego Restaurant Week, extending their New Year’s celebrations.

Continuing support of the North County Food Bank, each Dine Out Escondido! restaurant participant will donate $1 of every special they sell during this week to the North County Food Bank’s Food 4 Kids Backpack Program.

Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank CEO James A. Floros said, “We are very grateful to the restaurants that are supporting our North County Food 4 Kids Backpack Program through the Dine Out Escondido! campaign. Children on the program receive free meals at school during the week, but face hunger over the weekend when school meals are unavailable. Funds raised through Dine Out Escondido! will help us provide weekend backpacks filled with food to elementary school children living in poverty.”
