A red-tailed hawk flying over Conservancy-owned land taken by Juan Troncoso
Join the group for an exclusive morning hike on The Escondido Creek Conservancy’s newly acquired Sardina Preserve in Escondido, Saturday, November 16 from 8:30-11 a.m.
This hike has the potential to offer glimpses of coast horned lizards, mule deer, and native birds. It will end with a guest speaker from Sky Hunters—a local non-profit focused on raptor rehabilitation and education—where you’ll experience these beautiful creatures up close.
Moderate exertion is involved. Please bring hats, water bottle, and good hiking shoes. Tickets are $55 per hike or $100 for the remaining hikes in the Wonders of the Watershed hike series. All tickets and donations are tax-deductible. All money raised helps fund The Escondido Creek Conservancy, a non-profit that works to protect local wildlife habitats. Directions to the Preserve will be provided upon ticket purchase.
