Come one, come all to the spellbinding cirque sensation that entertains adults and children alike! Flip FabriQue is a Quebecbased troupe of six acrobats whose fastpaced circus show, Attrape-Moi (Catch Me!), features swirling hula hoops, masterful juggling, gravity-defying aerialist techniques, and more. Fun, fast-paced and fearless, this nouveau cirque crew takes athleticism and showmanship to new heights in this high-flying spectacle. From bouncing off balance beams to scaling a trampoline wall, Catch Me! features death-defying stunts in a crowd-pleasing cirque sensation. Jon Jaylo Solo Exhibition at The Center

Distinction Gallery, in collaboration with the California Center for the Arts present Filipino artist Jon Jaylo’s solo exhibition entitled “All These Answers That May Never Come Our Way”. This exhibit showcases 11 new paintings and several drawings Jaylo created specifically for this exhibition. Globally acclaimed for his contemporary surrealist style, Jon Jaylo’s art plays around a parallel dream world where everything is floating surreal and dancing in a contained universe, all inspired by poetry.

Annual Costume and Parade at Bates Nut Farm

You and your family have worked hard on your Halloween costumes…here’s your opportunity to show them off! While you’re at it, document your efforts with some photos in the Pumpkin Patch at Bates Nut Farm. Participants in the Bates Costume Contest will get a certificate of participation, Halloween treats and a tractor hayride ticket. Not wearing a costume? Come anyway to enjoy the costume parade and cheer for your favorite costumes. Prizes will be awarded in four age categories, so everybody has a chance to win. Registration begins at 9:00, and costume parade and judging begin at 11:00. Create lasting memories at Bates with all the Pumpkin Patch activities, scrumptious food, and live music on the Bates Stage from noon til 3. Admission is free. $5.00 parking. Recycled Materials Runway Event

This fashion show is the most unique you will encounter all year. Edgy Eco-decadent fashions are constructed using, re-purposed materials. This exciting evening combines visual arts, and installations inspired by the re-using of objects destined for landfills. The Recycled Materials Runway Event features artwork and fashion designs, with a focus on student and emerging fashion designers. Edgy designers from across the state gather to preview their socially relevant arte-couture and prêt-a-porter designs. All garments and accessories are constructed, assembled and embellished using conventional and non-conventional elements including thrifted, reconditioned and trashed materials. Don’t miss the annual “Howl-o-ween” Doggie Costume Contest & Parade on Sunday, October 23rd. Bring your dog in its favorite costume to enjoy the pumpkin patch and compete in the contest. Prizes will be awarded to the top dogs! Registration opens at 9:00. Judging and parade begin at 11:00.
