The 27th annual Grand Ave Festival
and Street Faire.
Formally known as the Escondido Street
Faire… The Grand Ave Festival is “the
event of the year” and proves to be even
bigger and better than ever! Over 500
vendors, live entertainment, and food
from around the world have combined
to make the Grand Ave Festival the 2nd
largest street fair in California and a family tradition since 1989. Fun rides, games,
entertainment, food, art, and shopping
for everyone. Bring your Christmas list
to get some early shopping done. Celebrity Landscaper, Ahmed Hassan, returns
to Escondido to share his knowledge of
all things green. Hassan is a featured expert on HGTV, and DIY Network’s gardening shows, such as “Yard Crashers”,
as well as a popular guest on “The Nate
Berkus Show,” CBS ”Early Show” and
ABC’s “Good Morning America.” During the event, Hassan will set up shop
at Heritage Garden Park at the corner of

Grand and Juniper and conduct two, one-hour presentations and hands-on demonstrations, along with fielding questions
from the audience. A native Californian,
he is keenly aware of our water challenges and is passionate about teaching smart
