Jon Jaylo Solo Exhibition at The Center Distinction Gallery, in collaboration with the California Center for the Arts present Filipino artist Jon Jaylo’s solo exhibition entitled “All These Answers That May Never Come Our Way”. This exhibit showcases 11 new paintings and several drawings Jaylo created specifically for this exhibition. Globally acclaimed for his contemporary surrealist style, Jon Jaylo’s art plays around a parallel dream world where everything is floating surreal and dancing in a contained universe, all inspired by poetry. The exhibition runs through November 13, 2016 California Center for the Arts Escondido 340 N Escondido Blvd.

FREE E-Waste & Shred Disposal Event
The City’s Recycling Division is partnering with Escondido Disposal to provide
two free e-waste/shred events this year at
Escondido High School. All Escondido residents (and City employees) may drop off
their electronic waste and have up to two
banker’s boxes of documents shredded on
site at no cost.

6th Annual “Tots ‘n Trucks” Admission is FREE to “kids” of all ages and open to explore trucks of all shapes and sizes including fire trucks, police cars, dump trucks, garbage trucks, paving trucks and much, much more. The festivities also include a jumpy zone, game zone and food zone. And, be on the lookout for special appearances by Batman, Ronald McDonald and a demonstration by the Escondido Police Department K-9 unit!

The event’s activities are being sponsored by the Escondido Community Child Development Center and Sculpt Nouveau.
