The City’s Code Enforcement Division hosted a California Association of Code Enforcement Officers (CACEO) Investigative Report Writing class at City Hall this week. 45 Code Enforcement Officers from 12 different cities participated in this training working collaboratively to hone their writing skills to write effective reports. The class was taught by former code enforcement officer, now Detective with Murrieta Police Department Jason Jones.
CACEO is the California Association of Code Enforcement Officers. CACEO provides comprehensive code enforcement education, training and certification as well as facilitates legislative advocacy for its profession. This association is led by 26 Code Enforcement Officers from around the state of California from various agencies that work hard each day to improve not only their profession, but the quality of life for members of the community.
