ST. STEPHEN CATHOLIC CHURCH

Congratulations to the parish’s newly Baptized and Fully Initiated Catholics who were brought into the Church at the Easter Vigil. The parish celebrated 13 baptisms and also welcomed 12 others who were fully initiated through First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation.

THE FEAST OF DIVINE MERCY – this Holy Hour will be conducted by Father John Struzzo on Sunday, April 12 at 3 p.m. This is a combined celebration for the North County inland region of St. Mary, Resurrection, St. Stephen and St. Timothy parishes. There will be Holy Hour of Adoration, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Reflection, Veneration of the Divine Mercy Image and relic of Saint Faustina. A short film titled “Message of Hope and Healing” will be shown in the parish hall at 2 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Call Mary at 760- 751-1157 with any questions.

Now that Easter is over the parish will return to regular activities. This includes middle and high school youth groups, RCIA, Women’s Bible Study, Faith Formation for the elementary age children, Bible study for the youth at the home of Hannah Boyd, Pre- Baptism Seminar with Deacon Chuck, Confession, Bible Study with Gloria Salinas and St. Vincent de Paul food distribution. * * *
