We celebrate Catechetical Sunday because it is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the role that each person plays, by virtue of Baptism, in handing on the faith and being a witness to the Gospel. Parents also are recognized, as they are truly the primary catechists of their children.

Catechists are: Bridget Banner – Kindergarten, Billee Calabrese – 1st year Sacrament prep, Jana Schwerdtfeger – 2nd year Sacrament prep, Cheryl Jensen – 3rd grade, Kathy Eckert – 4th grade, Lenny Passafiume – 5th grade, Katherine Splane – 1st year Sacrament prep – grades 3+.

CCD begins this week, with Middle School and High School youth beginning next week. RCIA begins this week and continues throughout the year. Dawn Patrol is at 6:45 a.m. each Wednesday morning with Mass on the 1st Wednesday of the month. Confirmation formation starts Sunday, September 27.
