ST. STEPHEN CATHOLIC CHURCH

Faith is a pre-requisite for us to receive any favor from God and this faith is a gift and a virtue that enables us to put our whole trust, dependence and belief in God and what He has revealed. Do you think there is anyway God is testing your faith? Please do not fail the test. Let us continue to seek the face of God.

This week begins with Name Tag Sunday, then the RCIA inquiry session, the Rosary and Divine Mercy Devotions, Eucharistic Adoration, Welcome committee potluck, Spanish Women’s Ministry, Directory photo sessions, Women’s Guild meeting, Baptism seminar, Confession, Spanish Bible Study, St. Vincent food distribution, and Adult Faith formation with Gloria.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults – RCIA. Are you or someone you know interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith? Join the group Sundays after the 9 a.m. Mass in the Youth Room beginning this week for a low key- no pressure inquiry into our Catholic Faith.

The Bible Study at the home of the Boyd family continues through the summer each Wednesday evening.

The Fourth of July Celebration will be 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday for a Rib Cook- Out at the Don Herman amphitheater located behind the Church. There will be great food, music and games for the kids. RSVP by calling Deacon Gil at 749-2820 or the parish office at 749- 3324 for planning purposes.

You may schedule your portrait session at the St. Stephen Website (St.StephenVC.org) and click “Portrait Sign-Up.” Or sign up at the Welcome table after Mass.
