The San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum in Escondido held its annual Spring Gala, entitled Oceania on Sunday afternoon. It was an afternoon filled with island music, cuisine by a wide variety of eateries, and opportunities to bid on fabulous packages.
The purpose of the fundraiser: providing educational opportunities for children.

Posh Nosh Catering provided mouthwatering island style chicken.
Attendees were encouraged to dress in island costumes. Leis were provided.
Dances from the islands of Tahiti, Hawaii, Samoa and New Zealand were performed by Motu Nehenehe Polynesian Dancers, who also provided live instrument accompaniment.
