Charity Arch arrives

The Escondido charity arch arrived Tuesday at the corner of Centre City Parkway & Grand Ave. The arch is a gift of the Escondido Charitable Foundation. The community is invited to the lighting of the arch on March 12, 6 p.m. The event is free. Traffic will be closed on Grand Avenue between Centre City & Orange. The public is invited.

    Cant wait to see the graffiti on the sign. Welcome to “insert gang name here”. Those rats will be crawling all over that sign the fist day and spay painting all over it. The EPD will be pulling overtime just to keep it graffiti free.

    If you can’t say something nice, then don’t say anything at all. Be thankful for the piece of art, the hands that created it, and most of all the generous donor whom provided the funds for the gorgeous art
    work to grace our City.

    I saw it yesterday and it’s gorgeous. Ties in with the City Hall and Maple St. Plaza theme beautifully. Very excited for our increasingly vibrant downtown!
