The 9th annual All Car Lovers Show, hosted by Corvettes of San Diego will be held Saturday, October 14, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Escondido Elks Lodge #1687 located at 2430 S Escondido Boulevard.
Six of the eight charter members of Corvettes of San Diego met in Reno, Nevada during Hot August Nights. They did not win at the slots, but struck gold as they began the process of starting a new NCCC Corvette club. Following that first meeting, on August 31, 2003, Norma & Paul Heeter, Loretta & John Harry, Mona & Steve Lucero & Jo and Craig Heidman met and Corvettes of San Diego was created. The name Corvettes of San Diego was chosen, because of the group’s desire to appeal to Corvette enthusiasts all over San Diego County and further.
Corvettes of San Diego members are extremely proud of the accomplishments the club has achieved in its history. The club is a member of the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC) and is sponsored by Bob Stall Chevrolet. The club has several fund raisers through the year and the funds are donated to numerous charities through the Elks Lodge #1687, Escondido.
If you are a Corvette owner and love to do fun things then Corvettes of San Diego is the club for you. Club events are not only related to car activities but include a broad range of fun topics such as bowling, movies, wine and beer tours, Mystery Runs, June Swoon, Progressive Dinner, Holiday Parties, Museum Runs, or just a fun time out with great friends. It’s a great way to meet and exchange information with people who have a common interest: Chevy Corvette!
Past long-distance road trips included a Route 66 event, So-Cal tour, Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Festival, NCCC Convention, Laguna Seca Races, and more.
Corvettes of San Diego meets every month on the 4th Friday at 7 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in south Escondido, California. Being a member of Corvettes of San Diego provides a great opportunity to spend quality time with other Corvette enthusiasts.
