Campa-Najjar, DeMaio, Issa confirm for 50th District forum

The three top polling candidates in the 50th Congressional District, now that Duncan Hunter Jr. has dropped out of the race, have announced  they will take part in the candidate forum that has been organized for February 7, 2020 at the Maxine Theater in Valley Center. Hours are 7PM to 9PM (doors open at 6pm).  Those candidates are Ammar Campa-Najjar, Carl DeMaio and Darrell Issa.

The forum is being presented by the Valley Center Business Association and the Valley Roadrunner/Times-Advocate.

VCBA President William Del Pilar commented, “Our committee worked hard to bring the candidates to the North County region of the 50th Congressional district. We’re grateful, excited, and committed to bringing an unbiased forum to the district.” He added, “I thank the candidates for accepting our invitation, recognizing the North County community, and look forward to an evening of great political dialogue. We welcome every constituent in the 50th district to come out for an evening of political talk that’ll help determine the best candidate to represent our beliefs and values and who will represent the 50th district with integrity and honor.”
