15 of San Diego’s favorite food trucks will return to Bates Nut Farm for the 4th Annual Valley Center Food Truck Festival. On Saturday, August 15 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., gourmet to-go will be the main attraction, with offerings of Cajun/Creole cuisine, sushi, surf cuisine, BBQ, Mexican, Polish, comfort food, desserts, and everything in between. In addition to the tastiest food on wheels, there will be a variety of family entertainment including music from Red Lane on the Cruise Party Stage, pony rides and a Kids Zone from Wow Factor Attractions. Guests 21 and over with ID can pair their gourmet entrees with 3 different local craft beers in the Beer Garden from 2:00 – 7:00.
Returning to the festival are many crowd favorites including Food Network’s “Great American Food Truck Race” alumni Ragin’ Cajun and Devilicious. Joiningthem are Chubby’s, Organic Food Truck, Pierogi Truck, Two For the Road, Sweet Treats, Super Q, Underdogs Gastro Truck, and Perky Beans. New to the festival lineup are Sushi Uno, Famoso Mexican Food, That’s What Cheese Said, and Epic Eatz.
Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or picnic blankets to enjoy their gourmet treats under the shade trees. Dogs on a leash are welcome at the festival, however only service dogs are permitted inside the retail stores. Parking and festival admission are free.
