Construction has begun on Escondido’s first, new industrial development in more than a decade.

Earlier this week Badiee Development has commenced construction on the Escondido Victory Industrial Park. Badiee celebrated Tuesday with a ground breaking ceremony hosted with City of Escondido Mayor Sam Abed and dozens of other distinguished community and business leaders.

“We are pleased that Badiee Development has begun construction on the first of two industrial projects in Escondido. The Escondido Victory Industrial Park is an innovatively designed development that will attract top-tier manufacturing, e-commerce, and research and development companies that create high-caliber jobs locally,” said Mayor Abed.

The 91,000-square foot Escondido Victory Industrial Park is located at 2005 Harmony Grove Rd., Escondido and will be completed in the spring of 2018. The project is comprised of two modern industrial buildings, which are suited for one to two substantially sized companies. The project will feature contemporary building design including outdoor areas that open to the Escondido Creek, high clear height ceilings and mezzanine space among other features.

“Badiee Development continuously delivers high-end, Class A products that provide innovative companies with the ability to enhance the lives of their team members and customers each day. The development of the Escondido Victory Industrial Park will create these opportunities in the City of Escondido,” said Ben Badiee, Founder and CEO of Badiee Development.

Ware Malcomb is the architect and TFW Construction is the general contractor for the Escondido Victory Industrial Park. Also in Escondido, Badiee Development plans to break ground on the Escondido Innovation Park, a second major industrial multi-tenant project, this coming fall.
