GARDEN CLUB PLANT SALE— The Dos Valles Garden Club will hold a plant sale on Saturday, June 20 from 8am until noon at the Martin Gang Ranch, 28933 Cole Grade Road, near Adams Park in Valley Center. We have to move hundreds of plants out of the greenhouse and nursery before the summer heat. For sale will be locally raised plants including trees, herbs, perennials, California natives, succulent gardens, and much more! Free refreshments. RELICS, RUST AND ROSES— Melrose Ranch will be hosting Relics, Rust & Roses, a vintage market, Saturday and Sunday, June 19 & 20 from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Pick through well worn furnishings, layers of weathered paint and plenty of unique character and charm. Come for the vintage market and stay for an evening of live Country Western music by Trevor McSpadden. The band starts at 5:30 p.m. Cost of admission is $15 for early birds (8 a.m.-10 a.m. on Friday only) while regular admission is $10 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on both days. Types of vintage items you will find include Barnyard, Up cycled, Industrial and Bohemian. Salvage and primitive pieces are also available. Melrose Ranch is located at 16757 Old Guejito Grade Road in Escondido. It is nestled in the hills of Escondido with majestic oaks, vineyards and Texas Longhorn cattle and rustic barns.

DESIGN REVIEW BOARD— The Valley Center Design Review Board will next meet July 6, 5-7 p.m. at VC Library’s History Room. The public is invited to attend and to speak on any matters on the agenda.
