Valley Center History Museum to reopen
The Valley Center History Museum has reopened after a two month renovation closure.
The museum was closed to enlarge their buildings, and a new wing will add 50 percent more space to their current facility, according to a press release.
The Museum is currently seeking volunteers when it reopens. It is scheduled to do so in late October or early November.
Since it opened, the 12-year- old museum has seen more than 32,000 guests, the press release says.
Dos Valles Garden Club hosts native plant talk
The Dos Valles Garden Club will host a talk on “Traditional uses of Native Plants” at 10 a.m. on Oct. 13 at their facility.
The lecture will be hosted by Jim McPherson, the manager of the Rincon Cultural Resource Department.
Armstrong Feed wants to give you a free lunch
Armstrong Feed and Supply will be giving out free lunches from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 10.
This is the 7th year that Armstrong Feed and Supply has done this on Customer Appreciation Day.
The event will also feature “significant discounts.”
