The Valley Center Library will sponsor an Autonomous Line Following Robot Competition on the 5th of September, 2015 Robot Competition. The competition will be held on the grounds of the library. This competition is open to all North County residents between the ages of 10-18. Judging will be performed by leading Electrical and Computer Science Engineers and a judge from a Robotic company.
Two age groups will compete: 10-14 years and 14-18 years for awards for the fastest time to successfully complete the course, the most innovative design and the most attractive robot. Full rules, registration and discussions will be available on the web site.
All programs at the library are free.

SAND BAGS AVAILABLE
Stormclouds may be gathering and an El Nino is becoming a stronger possibility with every passing week. So in preparation, Valley Center Fire Chief Joe Napier advises residents that they can prepare for coming storms by picking up sand and sand bags at Valley Center Fire Station 2 located at 28205 N.
