Escondido Arts Partner­ship holds several events in November—

The Escondido Arts Partner­ship is ceating a coloring book filled with art from local artists.

The EAP will receive the art on Friday, Nov. 20 and Saturday Nov. 21.

The EAP will also feature a ju­ried exhibition from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 20 and 21 at their Municipal Gallery. The exhibi­tion is juried and will feature art­work from local San Diego and Southern California artists. The art will also be a part of the annu­al Summation publication, which is a collection of poetry inspired by the art submitted.

Finally, the Escondido Arts Partnership will be hosting an ex­hibition highlighting works made of wood.

Take a free, guided hike of Elfin Forest and learn valuable tracking skills— The Elfin Forest Interpretive

Center will be hosting a guided hike from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 6.

The hike is a guided tour of the Elfin Forest area with Mike Gibbs, a former tracker for the San Diego Sheriff’s Department. He will lead a 2 to 3 hour walk discussing animal signs, behavior and tracking techniques.
