Apply to serve on the County of San Diego Independent Redistricting Commission

The opportunity only comes once every 10 years – a chance to redraw the boundaries of the County’s five supervisorial districts. The County is taking applications now for people who can serve on its Independent Redistricting Commission.

Completed applications must be received by the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors no later than Friday, July 31, 2020 at 5 p.m. Double check your answers in the application; once submitted, applications cannot be amended. Remember that you must answer all questions on this application to be considered for the Commission. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

You may drop off your completed application at the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors office, e-mail the form or send it through the U.S. Postal Service. Postmarks will not be accepted.

  • Sign the application.

Step 3: Submit the application.

  • Option 1: Mail or drop off the signed paper copy of the completed application at the address below:
