Annual Grand Avenue Street Faire on October 18

Escondido’s annual Grand Avenue Street Faire is slated to take place Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Street Faire, which is sponsored by the Escondido Chamber of Commerce and

the Downtown Business Association, occurs twice a year: once in May and once in October.

The event, which is the second largest in California, will have live entertainment and host over 500

booths of vendors selling various arts, crafts and other products, according to the Escondido website.

This year’s street fair will also feature a pancake breakfast, a host of kids’ rides, as well

as a 24-foot climbing wall.
