Accretive delivers 110,000 LHR petitions to registrar
The Times-Advocate has learned that the Accretive Group has delivered 110,000 petition signatures to the San Diego County Registrar of Voters in 137 boxes.
The petitions are for an initiative that would put the Lilac Hills Ranch project before the voters of the entire county in November.
According to the Registrar of Voters Office 70,000 valid signatures would be required to put the initiative on the ballot.
If the project proponents get the signatures they require, it will be submitted to a vote of the Board of Supervisors on August 2 and will either be approved with no changes or end up on the November ballot.
