8th Annual Tots ‘N Trucks October 13 at Kit Carson

Some of the fun at last year’s Tots N Trucks event at Kit Carson Park.

The 8th Annual Tots ‘N Trucks event will take place on Saturday, October 13, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at Kit Carson Park in Escondido.  Children of all ages will have a chance to explore trucks of all shapes and sizes including fire trucks, police cars, military vehicle, dump trucks, garbage trucks, paving trucks, cement trucks and much more.  

Admission is free to this family friendly event. The event is hosted by the Escondido Community Child Development Center and Escondido East Rotary Club.  Title sponsors are Sculpt Nouveau of Escondido and the County of San Diego. Special attractions include Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap foam fire truck, characters from the Star Wars Society, Escondido Police K-9 demonstration and performances by the  Classical Academy Marching Caimans. 

Participants can milk a cow at the Hollandia Dairy booth, drive RC Cars, jump in a variety of large blowup jumpies, learn how to make concrete, get their faces painted and receive health and nutrition information from the many booths that are included.   Raffle opportunities and food are also available at the event.

Last year over 4500 people attended the event.  In addition to Kit Carson Park, parking is available at the LDS Church and San Pasqual High School.
