New Vintage Church has housewarming

Sunday the New Vintage Church held a ribbon cutting and housewarming for its new sanctuary, otherwise known as “The Grand.” The edifice was built to provide a place for the church to meet, but also as a gift to the community of Escondido.   Photos courtesy David Zumaya, My San Diego North County

County moves to Purple Tier, many local businesses will be hit with restrictions

The restrictions are back. Residents will no longer be able to dine indoors at restaurants, attend church indoors, or go to the cinema or to gyms as of Saturday as the County reenters restrictions that were lifted earlier this year but are being reapplied as the coronavirus heats up. After posting a case rate of more than 7 cases per […]

Now Morasco is “Old Timer”

On December 9, 2020 two new members will take the oath of office and be seated on the Escondido City Council dais along with one re-elected Council member. Escondido Chamber calls tourney ‘huge success’

For the first time since mid-March when the Escondido Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for Swami’s Café, they held their first in-person event on Monday, November 2.  The 22nd Annual Chamber Challenge Golf Tournament teed off bright and early at Woods Valley Golf Course, and it was long overdue. You could tell from the attendance and myriad […]
