Firefighters confine blaze to garage

Escondido Fire responded to a structure fire on September 29 at 4:26 a.m. at the 1600 block of Cambria Place.  The fire was confined to the garage and completely contained within 30 minutes. Firetruck heads to Ohio for repairs

Escondido Fire Department Truck 131 last week departed for its 5-day journey to the Sutphen factory in Ohio for repairs. It is expected to be back in service in 45-60 days.
