Pipeline Construction Begins on the Vista Verde Reservoir Replacement Project

Pipeline construction along Vista Verde Way for the Vista Verde Reservoir Replacement project is scheduled for May 2017 through June 2017.

Vista Verde Reservoir Replacement project is part of City of Escondido’s Capital Improvements Program. The primary feature of the project are two new reservoirs that are being constructed northwest of the Vista Verde Way cul-de-sac. The pipeline portion of this project will extend from the existing pump station along Vista Verde Way, up to the Vista Verde Way Cul-de-Sac (approximately 2,500 Linear Feet).

Motorists and cyclists should expect some delays along Vista Verde Way. Residents of the neighborhood should also anticipate construction noise during the work hours, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should observe warning signs, including No Parking signs, along the construction route and slow down while driving through the construction zone.
