‘Enchanting Garden Tea’ Sept. 27 will feature singing and flute music

The upcoming outreach tea event (fundraiser) is organized by WROTE Ministries & Networking With Purpose, comprised by all volunteers and is non-profit.

The “Enchanting Garden Tea,” sponsored by WROTE Ministries will take place Sunday, September 27 at 2–4:30 p.m. at the Pala Mesa Resort (76 & Old Hwy 395/Fallbrook). The tea program will be highlighted with a live auction so everyone can bid at leisure and donated door prizes will be given away to some lucky winners.

WROTE (Women Reaching Out Through Evangelism) Ministries may be new to some residents, however, the 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization has been actively holding fundraisers since early February, 2009 so that grants/scholarships can be awarded to applicants, who qualify and have lost their home and job, or who are going through dire financial straits due to medical issues. A “free will offering” will be taken that will also help go toward the grant fund.

Keynote speaker and singer is Patty Klein, who encourages and inspires others through her “gift in message & song.” As a country singer, she received studio time from EMI Records and her music has been played in Nashville and Europe.

Kara Wuchner, a prominent flute educator in Southern California will perform. She is Associate Principal Flute with the Inland Valley Symphony and is active in the Music Teacher’s Association of California, as well as a long time member of the National Flute Association.

Wuchner founded the Southern California Youth Philharmonic Flute Choir and directs the Capriccio Flute Choir, a non-audition group, comprised of students and amateur flutists, focusing on the fundamental of ensemble playing.

Newly formed AV & Associates has recently opened its doors to serving the public in a variety of ways. Owners and network representatives from the business community are Karin Schumacher and Amy Vance, who joined forces and established their own law firm. They are also wives and moms.

Their activities reach beyond their law office. Schumacher has assisted with the Miss California Competition for the past 10 years and frequently makes presentations on estate planning. Vance serves on the board of the Thomas More Society of San Diego and is the Corporate Secretary of Children of The Immaculate Heart.

The cost is $30.00 per person for the tea menu and program. Deadline for tickets is Sunday, September 20. Seating is limited. Make reservations early.
