This month’s title is Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life with a steady boyfriend and a closeknit family. She has never been farther afield than her tiny village. Then, Louisa takes a badly-needed job working for ex–Master of the Universe, Will Traynor, who is wheelchair-bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life— big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel, but now he’s pretty sure he doesn’t want to continue living. Though Will is acerbic, moody, and bossy, Louisa refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, Louisa sets out to show him that life is still worth living. Escondido Public Library is located at 239 South Kalmia Street in downtown Escondido.
